GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI WAS A GEM 5/5
My wife and I spent 14 days touring Uganda and Rwanda was a surprise in that we were blown away with the beautiful people and amazing Cultures. Our tour guide, Brian, was one of the best of them. Always professional, always with a smile, Brian was an exceptional representative of Arcadia Safaris. His English was very good, and his local knowledge was great whether it was political, social, historical, or whatever. His knowledge was very impressive. The Toyota Land Cruiser we spent much of our time in was clean and comfortable. On the day we went up the mountain to see the gorillas in Bwindi National Park Uganda it was a couple hour drive but the journey was filled with light and interesting conversation. At the gorilla reserve Brian handed us over to the rangers who were excellent as well. We made the walking trek up the mountain with relative ease and we had our amazing encounter with a family of gorillas. Not to mention up close- WAY closer than we expected! Amazing to say the least. At the end of our time with this awesome company and beautiful country they made sure we were escorted from one end of the airport to the other right up to entering the aircraft. Never a worry or problem that wouldn't be dealt with by local professionals. I highly recommend Arcadia Safaris especially if you're with our new friend Brian! Thanks buddy. We booked for a 10 day trip in Uganda covering Kampala, Murchison, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi , Lake Mburo and Kibale Forest National Parks The trip was really good & we enjoyed it very much. The driver/guide Brian took good care of us. A 4x4 6-seater Land cruiser was with us for 10 days all expenses were taken care of as promised. This trip was a blend of adventure, education, and relaxation, all rolled into one." I was able to see Chimpanzees and Golden Monkeys in their natural habitant at Kibale Forest National Park and Mountain Gorillas at Bwindi Forest National Park. Our guide Baker was knowledgeable enough and he was a senior driver too. We were driven in a 4x4 Land Cruiser safari Vehicle throughout our Safari and we slept at serene lodges mostly at Primate Lodge Kibale was mind blowing. Gorilla trekking
*Gorilla Trekking was an experience to remember* I did 3 day gorilla trekking and Batwa experience in Bwindi in February 2023. Stanley was my guide, and I had such an amazing time with him. I am also a female solo traveller and felt comfortable 100% of the time. Our stay, food, 9 hour car rides, gorilla trekking experience and visiting Batwa People was all worth a 5 star rating. EXCEPTIOANL LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE TO REMEBER
The experience with Arcadia Safaris was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We were able to see everything we wanted to see Rhinos at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Gorillas in Bwindi National Park, Chimpanzee at Kibale Forest, Tree Climbing Lions giraffes, lions, buffalo, elephants, baboons, birds mostly the Hornbill, and so much more in our 8 days safari a. We even got to see an amazing scene of Murchison Falls. Thanks to our tour guide Brian. Brian was an amazing tour guide he was able to spot every single animal we wanted to see and in addition would do his best to get as close as possible to the animal so we could get the best view. He was also extremely knowledgeable and could answer any of the questions we had about either the animals or the migration. In conclusion, this was definitely a trip that I would recommend to everyone!!!!
