A Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Pickup from the Airport.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our seasoned safari guide-driver from Arcadia Safaris and welcomed to Tanzania. You will be transferred to your hotel previously booked in Arusha for dinner and overnight. This afternoon we also do a thorough briefing at your Hotel so that you clearly know what to expect from your safari.

Day 2:  Transfer to Tarangire National Park.

Your guide will be more than pleased to take you early morning and drive you to the beautiful and famous Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, your guide will roll up the roof for you to get the best view of the wild animals. Imagine to be surrounded by giant tree savannahs and towering baobabs with wetland marshes during season. This is one of the most famous parks to have the largest herds of elephants in North Tanzania! After the adventurous game drive day, dinner and overnight in your lodge.

Day 3: Full Day Exploration in Tarangire National Park.

Today is a day all about Tarangire’s attractiveness. Its sprawling landscapes and varied habitats you shall be enjoying today. You will be driven across the park to the Silalei Swamp, a vital oasis during the dry season, and one that attracts grazers-and the predators that follow them. Wildebeest and zebra seasonal migration makes the park one of the richest wild-life concentration outside Serengeti between June and November, with the world’s highest elephant population concentration.

Keep your eyes open to catch fleeting glimpses of lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and buffaloes; if you are lucky, even the shy wild dogs. Your guide will arrange an exclusive bush sundowner for you at sunset before returning you to dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Today, you will be led on an outing into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area down into the Ngorongoro Crater, arguably the most famous wildlife reserve in Africa. The crater’s grasslands and acacia woodlands are home to nearly every species of wildlife found on the East African savannah. In a literally mind-boggling span of a few hours, you might see four of the Big Five-lion, elephant, buffalo, and the elusive rhino. It’s been a really exciting day of game viewing and, in between, a picnic amidst this lovely crater landscape; now it’s time to go out in the afternoon for the highlight of your adventure, ending with a drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Fly to Zanzibar from Manyara Airstrip – 8 Day Classic Honeymoon Package with Zanzibar

Have breakfast, then be picked up to go to Manyara Airstrip to catch your flight to the island of Zanzibar in the tropics. At the port, you will be met by your driver, who will take you to Stone Town to check in. Later, after lunch at a local restaurant, your guide will meet you for an interesting tour of old Stone Town, which is characterized by its cultural and character. From there, you will head back to the hotel, where dinner will be waited out in comfort, and overnight.
