Itinerary Highlights:

Murchison Falls National Park: Appropriately located in northwestern Uganda, is a splendor of wildlife that sprawls through districts such as Masindi, Nwoya, and Kiryandongo. Lying as Uganda’s oldest and largest national park, it enjoys a unique blend of vast wild life, beautiful landscapes, and of course Murchison Fall-the main attraction and dramatic spectacle with which the Park bears this name.

Queen Elizabeth National Park: The park boasts a variety of flora and fauna, the famous Kazinga Channel, the magical Kyambura Gorge, and holds a conservation record of African elephants and chimpanzees. This park is certainly a treasure. One can never miss the magic of Queen Elizabeth National Park while traveling to Uganda.

Kibale Forest National Park: With its incomparable variety of primates and as one of the best destinations for bird enthusiasts, Kibale Forest National Park is a must-visit when touring the Pearl of Africa, Uganda. This park shelters some of the most interesting residents, such as chimpanzees and elephants, and is a haven for wildlife lovers.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Known for gorilla trekking and the dramatic Batwa trails, it is a feature of a 10-day highlight package that offers incomparable ambiance.

A Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to your Hotel.

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our friendly driver-guide from Arcadia Safaris will warmly welcome you into The Pearl of Africa, brief you about your safari and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will have an early breakfast and start north towards Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival in the afternoon, check into your lodge and relax for some time. In the evening, have an exciting evening game drive through a variety of animals: elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes, among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari at the Nile.

In the early morning after breakfast, proceed for your first game drive looking out at the early rises and most elusive predators in the day. Later enjoy a lovely lunch before indulging on a boat cruise along Victoria Nile offering perfect views downstream of the awesome Murchison Falls plus hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park .

After breakfast, you will leave Murchison Falls behind and drive to Kibale Forest National Park. In the afternoon, you will check into your lodge for some time to relax. Later in the evening, take a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, which is a home to primates, birds, and colored butterflies.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk.

Early breakfast, then out for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. You will have several hours in the forest, thereby enabling you to track these great primates and observe their behaviors in their natural environment. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, you will depart Kibale Forest and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have an afternoon arrival in the park and check into your lodge. Later in the evening, you will go on a game drive to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel.

This morning, after breakfast, you will take a morning game drive to try your luck at viewing the early risers and some of the elusive predators. After lunch, you will take a scenic boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, and an array of water birds. Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

After breakfast, you will be driven from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will check in at your lodge upon arrival, which would be in the afternoon, and then settle down. Than after you can take an evening nature walk around the lodge or visit the Batwa community to get some insight into their different ways of living; Best Wildlife Safari in Uganda.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Trail.

After an early breakfast, you will head into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your gorilla trekking adventure. You’ll be on the trail tracking these magnificent primates and observing their behavior in their natural habitat for several hours. Day 10: Transfer Back to Entebbe for Departure.

After breakfast, you will leave Bwindi and begin the drive to Entebbe. When you arrive in the afternoon, you’ll have some time to browse the local markets for any souvenirs or last-minute purchases. You will then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the conclusion of our 10-Day Uganda Wildlife and Primates Safari.
