4 Day Gorilla Trekking, This 4 Day Gorilla Trekking and Golden monkeys trekking safari will take you from Kigali International Airport all the way to Volcanoes National Park for the observing of primates. You will also get to visit the twin lakes of Burera & Ruhondo and have the opportunity to visit the Genocide Memorial Centre.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to your Hotel.

You will be  picked up from Kigali International Airport by Arcadia Safaris guide/driver who will brief you about this amazing 4 day primates bonanza. Then after you will be driven to your accommodation in Kigali for dinner and overnight stay.

Destination: Kigali

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking.

After you early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide/driver and you will be driven to RDB’s Office at 7am for a short briefing before you can depart on the adventure. After the briefing you will continue to with your journey into the mighty Volcanoes National Park for the amazing adventure of Gorilla Trekking. Expect to make some amazing memories trekking these gorillas. After the trekking you will be driven back to park headquaters for the trekking certificates and then you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:  Golden Monkeys Trekking – Volcanoes National Park.

After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters. Here you will go over Golden Monkeys trekking formalities and get a briefing by the Volcanoes National Park guides. After the Golden Monkey trek, have lunch at the hotel and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kigali and Visit Genocide Memorial.

Before being transferred to Kigali, you will visit the twin lakes of Bulera & Ruhondo. These are beautiful lakes located at the base of the Volcano Muhabura and close to the border with Uganda.  Surrounded by steep hills and large waterfalls with a backdrop of the Virunga Volcanic Mountains. These twin lakes are great spots to visit and used to be referred to as neglected gems. Their deep blue waters ringed by steep hills and tall waterfalls with the outlines of the nearby Virunga Volcanoes provide a spectacular backdrop.

Depending on your departure time and if you missed the opportunity on the first day, you will have Kigali City trip including the visit of the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gizozi and an excursion in Kigali town. After the City tour, you will be driven to back to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight and this shall mark the end of our 4-Day Gorillas and Golden Monkeys Trekking Safari.
