15 Day Uganda – Kenya and Tanzania Safari Holiday Experience magnificent safari will take you to Uganda for gorilla trekking and primate watch both in Bwindi forest and Kibale forest national park. The tour will also give you a chance to relax at Uganda’s deepest Lake Bunyonyi, named because of the very many small birds that live and feed on the lake.

Later the tour will certainly take you to Kenya for grate wildlife viewing experience in Masai Mara, Nakuru national park, take a city tour in Nairobi. Another game drive will be done in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro crater conservation area and Serengeti national.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale National Park.

After Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and you will get a brief about your 15 Days Uganda Kenya Tanzania Safari and Transferred for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. As you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscapes, traditional homes and catch glimpses of the different striking bird species. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort portal town – the tourism capital of Uganda because of the beautiful landscapes and attractions. You will arrive at your lodging for Dinner and Overnight in the Crater lakes region.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk.

After early in the morning breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking. By 8:00am, you will be starting your search for the chimpanzees within the park. These primates are the closest relatives to the human being and they share 98% of their DNA with that of the human beings. There are also many other primate species which will be seen along with the chimpanzees and these include; the L’Hoest monkeys, golden monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked Mangabey, red tailed monkeys, the bush babies.

The chimps are located by simply listening for their pant hooting calls, and then head to the place from which they replied from. Here you can observe them as they feed, play as well as socializing with each other. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi swamp which is also good for watching primates and birds. It’s mainly maintained by the local people and they earn a living from there. You will enjoy many bird species here including; the great blue turuco, and many more, the other primate species to view here include; the baboons, mongoose, otters, brush pigs as well as the bush bucks.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

After early morning breakfast, we drive directly to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector where you will view many tree climbing lions. And also 15 Days Uganda Kenya Tanzania continues. This is the only place in Africa were you will view tree climbing lions. You will also view many animals including; the monkeys, birds, Kobs, antelopes etc. Arrive to the park in the afternoon and enjoy a nature walk were you will many animals including the monkeys, elephants, birds etc.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Dance Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation.

Have an early morning breakfast, and after proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will then accompany you to the rain forest to start your search for the gentle giants. This walk can sometimes be tough and it needs someone so strong. Trekkers are always advised to carry their rain coats and boots because the weather there is always unpredictable.

There are also some potters who always help with the carrying of the luggage on behalf of the visitors but at a small cost. On sighting the gorillas, the rangers will guide you on handle them, especially by giving them a 6 meter distance as you enjoy them play around.

It’s always not easy to predict how long gorilla tracking will take and this also depends on the location of some families since some of them are far from the park headquarters. However, it always takes 2 to 8 hours to come into contact with them and the rangers will always be there to guide you. Trackers are also advisable to be physically fit before going for tracking.

After your trek, return to the lodge for your lunch and in the afternoon, you may opt to visit the Batwa community to enjoy some cultural performances before retiring at your lodge. Thereafter, you will return for lunch then drive off to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of(2,2,478mbut it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 5: Travel to Entebbe and Fly to Nairobi – 15 Day Uganda – Kenya and Tanzania.

After breakfast, you can choose to do Community Walk, Canoe Ride, Boat Ride, Bicycle Ride, Bird Watching, Cray Fishing or any other activity in Lake Bunyonyi by paying additionally at the accommodation. Post activities, the team will set out on a drive to Kampala.

You will be dropped off at the airport and nd fly to Nairobi Kenya were Arcadia Safaris representative will be waiting for you at airport to continue on our 15 Days Uganda Kenya Tanzania Safari. For Dinner and Overnight at your accommodation.

Day 6: Nairobi City Tour and Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.

After breakfast, you will have a small City Tour in Nairobi Kenya then from their you; will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive takes you across the Great Rift Valley right through to the floor of the valley. The park is famous for its bird life and the millions of flamingos. It’s also a Rhino sanctuary and you will be able to see both the black and endangered white Rhinos.  Arrive in time for your lunch at the Lodge.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive then Travel to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Early Morning breakfast at the lodge. Depart for the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the Lodge in time for Lunch after which you will step out for an afternoon game drive to view the famous big five namely Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Wildebeest and Lions. For Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.

Day 8 and 9:  Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve.

A full day is spent at the Maasai Mara game reserve. Driving across the plain in search of the big cats (black manned lions, cheetahs and leopards with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plain game like the topi, heart beast, and eland. For Dinner and Overnight.

Day 10: Travel to Serengeti via Isebania Border.

You’ll be welcomed at the Isebania by our driver and guide, who will both be with you for the entire holiday. Transfer to the tented camp in Central Serengeti, An excursion may be scheduled in the afternoon only if arrival is in the morning, otherwise no activities are on schedule in the afternoon / evening, in view of the following, busy days.

Day 11 and 12: Game Drive in Seronera| Serengeti Central.

After breakfast, departure for the photo safari in the Serengeti National Park. Through the lens of a camera, you’ll go on a shooting spree, beyond your imagination: wildebeests, zebras, lions, buffalo, leopards, hippos and elephants in the endless expanses in one of the most spectacular places on earth. A packed lunch will be available at noon, whereas dinner will be served once back at the lodge, at sunset. No other activities are scheduled for the day.

Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater Drive – 15 Day Uganda – Kenya and Tanzania Safari Holiday.

After breakfast, early in the morning, departure for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From the caldera of the dormant volcano, you’ll go down the crater to enjoy the beauty of its unique flora and fauna, almost coming into contact with the animals. A packed lunch will be available at noon.

Day 14: Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, early in the morning, departure for Depart for walking safari in the Ngorongoro Highlands (3/4 hour). A packed lunch will be available at noon. In the afternoon, before the park closes, you’ll return to the lodge in Karatu, where dinner will be served in the evening.

Day 15: Travel to Arusha – 15 Day Uganda – Kenya and Tanzania Safari Holiday

After breakfast, transfer to the airport if your flight scheduled for the morning or the early afternoon. If your flight scheduled late in the afternoon or in the evening, you’ll have the whole morning available for a visit to the city and the transfer to the airport will be in the afternoon, after lunch. Thus the end of our Safari.
