On Social Responsibility, Arcadia Safaris takes the impact on the community seriously. We host thousands of people in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania annually, and the negative impact of this could be huge if we do not practice responsible travel. We aim to educate each guest who comes on tour with us on how to be a responsible traveller in our respective destinations.

Arcadia Safaris Gives Back

We are from this community and so we feel a natural desire to give back to those we love. All people should live dignified lives, free of want and facing the life needs alone. So it is our joy to give 10% of your bookings to our Charity. Global Hope Foundation. This Non Government organization provides free basic needs, free education, and medical support to needy children, widows, widowers, and the elderly. You are helping us to make a difference in Uganda.

We use our time, resources, experience, and knowledge to open some doors into a growing and positive industry in Uganda, with the view of creating an impact on the lives of underprivileged young people, orphans, and widows. We commit ourselves to ensuring that the benefits of tourism transcend beyond our adventures to the lived reality of those who call our destinations home.

Cultural Respect and Involvement

Every tour that is taken with Arcadia Safaris is an opportunity to interact with different cultures. We try to inculcate a sense of respect for the culture in our guests and allow them to relate well with the local communities where they go. We use guides native to the areas we visit, exposing our guests to firsthand knowledge and experiences of these communities, and we promote local artisans and businesses to help ensure that money spent on tours benefits the economic growth of the areas visited.
