A Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to your Hotel.
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport you will be met by Arcadia Safaris driver-guide. You will take part in meet and greet, then you will be briefed about the safari by our guide-driver and then head to Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to RDB offices at 7:00 for a briefing and instructions by the guide concerning the trekking of gorillas and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. It’s vital to bring good hiking boots, long trousers, gloves for protection against stinging nettles, snacks, and enough drinking water since it gets hot and humid during the day. You will have an hour with the gorillas that you will never forget. Drive back in the evening for lunch at your hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking at Volcanoes National Park.
On your third day, you will go on a day of Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. While on this trek, you will also get the chance to view the volcanos in the park. You will head back to the hotel for lunch and then proceed to Gisenyi to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. You will be heading to your accommodation later in the evening to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu for a Boat Cruise.
After breakfast, you will go for a morning boat ride around Lake Kivu. While here, you are going to see so many birds and various water animals at the shores of the lake. You will also enjoy swimming at Serena Hotel Beach. You’re going to have dinner at your accommodation too overnight.

Day 5: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to the Airport.
On the last day, you will enjoy your morning breakfast and head for a city tour in Kigali. You will visit, among others, the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi, Kigali Convention Centre, and Local Markets as part of your city tour. You will equally have an opportunity to interact with the local people, discover the artisanal products such as collars, bracelets among others, then later transfer back to Kigali International Airport.
