Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to Serengeti

Your Kilimanjaro International Airport arrival marks the starting point for your adventure; our amiable guide-driver from Arcadia Safaris shall be well prepared to welcome you. Following a brief welcome and trip overview, you head off on a scenic drive toward the expansive Serengeti. The journey itself is some sight to behold as you cut across the ever-changing landscapes of northern Tanzania-from the bustling streets of Arusha to the sweeping plains of the Serengeti.

Break for a leisurely lunch en-route in one of the local towns, where you are introduced to Tanzanian hospitality and culture. The farther you get to Serengeti National Park, the more the landscape changes into classic African savanna, teeming with life. You will enter the park through the Naabi Hill Gate, and driving on to your lodge, get ready to spot the first wildlife-zebras, giraffes, and antelopes start to appear as if to welcome you to their world. 3 Day Best of Serengeti Wildlife Safari.

Day 2: Full-Day of Exploring Serengeti National Park

You will wake up at sunrise and enjoy a view of the Serengeti that is almost magical, followed by a warm breakfast. Immediately thereafter, you shall be prepared to take on a full day’s work. The Serengeti indeed has its many wonders in terms of biodiversity, part of which will be experienced today. During the morning game drive, predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs try their luck in the plains for prey; Throughout Serengeti, your guide will be taking you through key areas, including the Seronera Valley, where wildlife is also common, and lions are relatively easy to see, and if it is that time of year, you may even witness a part of the Great Migration, when nature’s spectacle occurs with millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles migrate across the plain in search of fresh grazing areas.

Stop for a bush picnic under an acacia tree in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by bush and game. The afternoon is left to more game viewing at your guide’s discretion depending on animal movements. It could be a herd of elephants trekking across an open savanna or a family of hippos lazing in the waters; there’s always something incredible going on in the Serengeti. In the late afternoon, when the sun nears its setting, return to your lodge for some fine dinner and, if need be, tell stories around the campfire to unwind after such an exhilarating day.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon  and Transfer Back to the Airport

Your final day in the Serengeti begins with an unforgettable early-morning hot air balloon safari. You will rise before dawn and transfer to the launch site, where you will board the balloon for a breathtaking flight over the vast Serengeti plains as the sun rises. From above, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the endless savannah and, depending on the season and location, spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other animals moving across the plains. The peaceful flight offers a unique perspective of the Serengeti and provides a truly memorable way to conclude your safari.

After landing, you will enjoy a traditional champagne breakfast in the wilderness, surrounded by the beautiful Serengeti landscape. Following breakfast, you will return to your lodge or camp to collect your luggage and prepare for your onward journey. You will then begin your transfer towards Serengeti National Park’s airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha or your next destination, depending on your travel arrangements.
