3 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari offers a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion, ensuring an enriching and memorable safari experience in Uganda. It takes you to track gorilla in the dense forests of Bwindi impenetrable National to track the gentle apes in their natural habitat, while on the trek various small mammals can be spotted along the way like Duikers, forest elephants, different small primates like Black and White colobus monkeys, blue ,monkeys, different bird species and some Albertine endemics only found in this area. After the gorilla trekking, you drive to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest Lake in Uganda with very beautiful views to relax as you wait for your return journey.

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Your adventure begins with your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, where you’ll be greeted by our friendly guide from Arcadia Safaris. After a warm welcome, you’ll embark on a picturesque drive through the lush Ugandan countryside towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

As you journey through the diverse landscapes, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the local villages, vibrant markets, and stunning vistas along the way. Your guide will provide fascinating insights into the culture, history, and natural wonders of Uganda, making your journey both informative and enjoyable.

Upon arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you’ll check into your comfortable accommodation nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of the forest. Take some time to relax and soak in the serene surroundings before enjoying a delicious dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, our guide shall transfer you to the park offices and you will meet your experienced ranger-guide who will brief you on safety procedures and provide insights into the behaviors of these magnificent creatures.

The trekking adventure begins as you venture into the dense forest, following your guide through winding trails and lush vegetation in search of the mountain gorillas. The experience of encountering these gentle giants in their natural habitat is truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable.

As you observe the gorillas in their family groups, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at their playful antics, nurturing interactions, and incredible strength. Remember to capture these precious moments through your camera lens while also taking time to simply immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world.

After spending time with the primates, you will be led back to the starting point for your certificate of participation. You will find our office Guide waiting to take you back to the hotel for lunch and rest.

In the evening, you will bid farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the “Switzerland of Africa” for its stunning landscapes and tranquil ambiance. Arriving late evening, you will check in to your accommodation, refresh , relax, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Exploring Lake Bunyonyi and Departure: – 3 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari.

Afrter your early morning breakfast, you will be enchanted by the crystal-clear waters, verdant hills, and picturesque islands dotting the lake. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the area through various activities such as canoeing, swimming, or simply relaxing on the shores and taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the lake before embarking on a boat excursion to visit some of the scenic islands scattered across Lake Bunyonyi. You will learn about the local culture and traditions as you interact with the communities living on the islands and discover their way of life.

As the day draws to a close, we shall begin our journey back to Entebbe, where you will bid farewell to Uganda with cherished memories of your unforgettable gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi safari. This shall make the end of our 3 Day Gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi Safari.
