Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Your adventure starts right away after your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be received with a smile by the Arcadia Safaris guide in a very friendly manner. After a short welcome, you start off on the beautiful drive through the countryside up to the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Travel through the emerald-green villages, watch bustling markets and gaping landscapes unfold before you. Your guide will elaborate on the journey with interesting stories about Ugandan culture, from its vibrant culture to rich history in diversity.

On arrival at Bwindi, you check-in at your comfortable accommodation well set in the middle of this calm forest. You would retire to your room, relax, and enjoy the serene surroundings of the night and a scrumptious dinner, freshly prepared from local materials-your true welcome to this lifetime experience..

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Today is the highpoint of your safari, as you head out on a remarkable gorilla trekking day in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, our guide will drive you to the park offices where you will meet your accomplished ranger-guide who will first inform you about safety precautions and afterwards enlighten you with interesting information on the behavior of these stunning animals.

You’ll get excited when you start your trek into the dense forest, following winding trails and lush vegetation to catch the elusive mountain gorillas. For the first time in your life, you’ll come face to face with these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an awing experience that’s truly once in a lifetime.

The playful, interactive, and caring attitudes of these gorillas give really enchanting views. Do not forget to capture these magic moments with your camera, but also take some time to fully absorb the serenity and wonder of it all.

Having spent adequate time with the gorillas, you head back to the starting point, where you’ll be given a certificate of participation as a keepsake of this fantastic journey. Your guide now takes you back to the hotel for a well-deserved lunch and some time to rest.

Later in the day, you will leave Bwindi for a drive to Lake Bunyonyi, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa-it has been called the “Switzerland of Africa” for reasons of great scenery. You will check in, freshen up, and later have dinner and retire into the night in serenity.

Day 3: Exploring Lake Bunyonyi and Departure: – 3 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari.

After early breakfast, you will be fascinated by the crystal waters, the rolling green hills, and the little islands scattered about Lake Bunyonyi. Spend the morning in this haven of tranquility as you engage in canoeing, swimming, or just relaxing at the shore as you enjoy the blissful scenes around you.

Take a leisurely lunch on your veranda with a view of the lake. After lunch, continue with a thrilling boat tour in order to see some of the beautiful Islands. Visit the islands that allow you to observe a segment of the local communities during close interaction, their culture, and traditions.

You will begin your scenic drive back to Entebbe at sunset, full of memories from this unforgettable gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi adventure. In fact, this is where our magical 3-Day Gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi Safari comes to a close.
