Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

Today morning our safari guide will meet you at your hotel, brief you about the safari and then begin the two hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Once inside the park you will see several animals and birds. For example the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania.  However the park’s terrain is greatly varied with seasonal swamps and large Savannah. You will have a game drive and then later proceed to where you will dine and spend this night.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Full Day – 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari.

After breakfast you will set out on a walking safari certainly led by an experienced guided and an armed park ranger for a closer encounter with the gifts of Mother Nature. The major focus will be on the smaller wild animals as well as the various birds. Then have lunch back at the lodge. Day 3: Visit Gibb’ Farm – 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari.

Firstly today as you transfer to the gate of Gibb’s farm, you will see a number of animals a number of which you may not have encountered before. Secondly continue to MtowaMbu a multi-cultural town.  Surely leaving the Great Rift Valley behind you and entering into the highlands rich with vegetation. While here you will enjoy views of Lake Manyara and the Masai Plains. Furthermore proceed to Karatu and then check into the lodge.

Day 4: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater – 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari.

After breakfast you will specifically transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Additionally descend down the high walls into the renowned Ngorongoro Crater whose floor is swarmed with thousands of different wild animals. You will also have a game drive here during which you will encounter various animals. For instance four of the legendary Africa’s Big Five animals – rhinos, lions, buffaloes and elephants among several other species on this 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari

Day 5: Explore the Endless Plains (Serengeti).

After breakfast transfer straightaway to Serengeti National Park specifically found within the vast Serengeti plains. While here, you will visit a number of archaeological sites. Furthermore to see some of the ancient discoveries that were made such as the 1.7-million- year Zinjanthropusboisei fossil estimated to be over 1.7 million years old. There is also a small museum found here where you will be able to see understand the several discoveries that Dr. Leakey and his wife made. 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari: You will encounter a number of wild animals for example Elephants, topi, Wildebeests, Buffaloes, Thomson’s gazelles, lions, grant’s gazelles, Cheetahs, Zebras, Hyenas and Giraffes. Lastly spend the night at the lodge.

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Day 6-7: Search for Predators – 8-Day Luxurious Tanzania Safari.

During these two days, you will explore the vast Serengeti while doing game drives during which you will encounter various animals.  Meanwhile in the months of November and December, the park is receiving short rains and the wildebeest migratory herd has moved from the hills up in the north down into the plains found in the south. The longer rains start in April all through to June and during this time the herd returns north. Because the animal’s movement totally depends on the yearly rainfall, the location of this herd may differ year after year however the good news is that your guide will be aware of their location. However, return back to the lodge. Finally for an overnight.

Day 8: Fly from Serengeti – Arusha.
